Artem is a Friendly Human Non-Player Character. They can be found in The Council Chambers and The End of Time. They are a prominent Story Character in the World of Eterra.

Overview[]

Artem is a scavenger, who collects trinkets and other sorts of objects questionable origin. He sells these to an equally curious customer for the right price.

Gambling[]

Much like other vendors, Artem has a varying stock of equipment that replenishes after a set period of time, as well as some items previously sold at other vendors can be bought back at a much higher price. His stock is available in a different way however.

Instead of one inventory, Artem offers three different ones: weapons, armor and accessories. Each group has corresponding items, of which only the base type and the level requirement is known. Once bought, the item is fully created and assigned a random selection of affixes.

Artem's items can go up to level 40 only, making gambling feasible when a specific lower tier base is wanted and the player has some gold at hand.

Should Artem's stocks ever be running out or the player is dissatisfied with the item selection, they can be renewed for an instant payment of 500 gold.

History[]

Ruined era[]

When the last bastion of humanity, Last Refuge comes under threat by the Void, Artem reluctantly accepts his fate and turns to mindless hoarding. He sets up shop in the Council Chambers and sells his collection to the unsuspecting folks.

Upon encountering the Traveler and overhearing their conversation about Elder Erza's ledger, he drops a hint to them about his services. Should the player hand him the ledger over, he rewards the exclusive item "Gambler's Fallacy".
