Forge

Forges are interactable objects found in towns and in the Monolith of Fate.

Overview[]

Forges are hearths with the form of a magical hammer that are used to enchant the magical properties of items, via crafting. They are available in most havens throughout Eterra.

The Forge is accessible by pressing the corresponding hotkey (default F) at all times, bringing up the crafting menu. Every town also contains one that can be interacted with by moving to it.

Besides providing crafting, the Forge can also be used to store glyphs and runes without taking up inventory or stash slots. Crafting material can be put here individually by hand, or sent with the press of a button from the player inventory.

Trivia[]

Forges also used to serve as a completable objective for regular Echoes in a timeline. They were contaminated by the energies of various thematic monsters, which must have been defeated in order to cleanse it. Since Patch 0.8.2, they got reworked into the Gate mechanic.
