Parties are one of the Game Features that allows up to 4 players to team up with each other to cooperatively fight against Enemies or Enemy Players.
Overview[]
Parties can be formed with other players encountered during Online Multiplayer. For this, players can use the Social Panel (default hotkey "H").
As a player, either you can send an invite to a select online player, or you can receive one from someone else. When the invitation is accepted, players become members of the same party. Simultaneously, all party members get small profile pictures in the top left corner, allowing easier access for some functionalities, such as chat.
Mechanics[]
Instances[]
Instead of separate instances, party members join a common one when multiple players enter the same zone. Any member can be opened a Portal to, which takes users to their exact location.
Combat[]
- Players grant experience to nearby players from killing monsters.
- Every member counts as an Ally to each other, affected by such properties (mostly buffs).
- Enemies get a significant boost to their health, depending on the number of players present.
- Drops are player-specific and cannot be interacted with by other players, in any means. They can be voluntarily gifted away however, provided both players have played in the same zone.
Repeatable PvE Areas (The Arena & Dungeons)[]
- Accessing the area requires only one key from any party member (special loot rules may apply).
- Before an area transition or boss fight, players must vote whether they want to progress further or not.
- Likewise, when offered multiple choices to tailor enemy loot and modifiers, players must vote in favor of one.
- Players that survive the major encounter are eligible for a boss loot.
