Path of Despair is a Quest Echo. The level of Enemies and maximum Equipment drops in this zone is 80. It appears in the alternative timeline Fall of the Empire.
History[]
The Imperials are reduced to a small number by the Void, forcing them to evacuate and march with a caravan laden of supplies and living people. Their convoy is ambushed by Void creatures however, and the Traveler travels to the scene to investigate it.
The Traveler only finds ransacked carts made of bone, infested by various Void creatures and animated earth. The last cart is defended by living husks, which are quickly dispatched. As they get closer to the frontal carriage, a few living people are found stranded, guarded by the Imperial Caravan Master and a few auxiliaries. They are dealt with by the Traveler.
Suddenly, more Void attacks come. The Traveler holds them back, and frees the fortunate prisoners from captivity.
