Temporal Sanctum is a Dungeon. It can be found in the Maj'elka. The level of Enemies and maximum Equipment drops in this zone is 50.
Access[]
The dungeon is accessible from the Ruined Coast just after Ortra'ek the Survivor. The Temporal Sanctum can be entered by expending a Temporal Sanctum Key at the entrance.
Overview[]
The Temporal Sanctum is the shelter for Julra, a time-lost Nagasa chronomancer, who has been experimenting with the Eternity Cache for uncountable time. Her relentless scientific drive causes time's fabric to tear, locking everyone out as time goes by, but the halls still stand the trial of time. Julra must be found and confronted before she damages the timelines even further.
Dual eras[]
The dungeon plays out in the Divine era and the Ruined era. Parts of the dungeon are sealed by bars that may be bypassed by shifting between the two eras - for this, the player must use Temporal Shift, the dungeon's unique ability. Although the dungeon's layout is fixed, enemies and shrines are not, and they coexist parallel to each other. Temporal Shift can also be used to avoid most enemies and their attacks.
Rewards[]
After the final room, the defeat of Chronomancer Julra enables the use of the Eternity Cache: a unique item, as well an exalted one with the corresponding base type can be combined into a legendary item.
Much like in other dungeons, one of two modifiers can be chosen between level transitions. Besides increasing enemy health and damage, the following rules also apply:
- the first modifier enhances drops from monsters,
- the second modifier enhances drops from the dungeon boss.
