History[]
The Shard of the Epoch that protected Last Refuge has been unknowingly lost, leaving the city defenseless against the ever-consuming tide of The Void, leaving lots of people dead and a sliver of them fleeing.
The Traveler arrives at the refuge camp, where a few guards behind rudimentary defenses and Captain Annya await. She debriefs them that Elder Mossbern and Geova are trapped in the middle of chaos, while Elder Pannion got lost together with the Shard, resulting in Elder Gaspar lose faith and eventually succumb to the Void. Annya begs for finding Mossbern and Geova.
With little time, the Traveler scours the ruins and liberates Geova, who was trying to get as many books as she could to carry away, and Mossbern, who get stranded in a far side of the city. When they return to inform Annya about the progress, Elder Burron close-by suddenly succumbs to the Void and transforms into a Void Amalgamation. He is dealt with in the front of his former comrades' eyes for good.
