History[]
In the Imperial era, the Outcast Camp comes under attack by the Immortal Empire. The undead ransacks the settlement and slaughters everyone in their wake, leaving only a handful of them alive.
When the Traveler arrives, a lone survivor tells that the undead did not finish their work. The remaining humans have been trapped, and a ritual is being performed on them in order to harvest their souls.
It is found that two necromancers power the barricade. When the barricade is unpowered, a large Imperial reinforcement congregates at the area, but they are no match for the Traveler.
Upon infiltrating the camp, a number of assassins are disposed of, but it is too late: the undead have already completed their work. A container of bones is found, which contains the remnants of the survivors, who are now being constantly resurrected to drive away the intruder. The reanimation ceases with the cairn's destruction, and the Outcasts are put to rest.
