Zones are instanced areas which are part of the game environment that can be found on the World Map.
Interface[]
In addition to being found on the World Map, zones names and minimaps are also located in the upper right corner of the screen for the current zone the player is in. The zone mini-map overlay can also be displayed in large on the center of the screen using the Toggle Mini-Map button in Settings (by default the TAB key).
A zones minimap will show it as being unexplored by default, hidden by a Fog of War. As the zone is explored the zones boundaries and features will be shown as explored. In main campaign zones, the exploration will persist once the player returns to that zone.
